At the weekend, the city of Freiberg wants to ensure more life in the city center. To this end, the city has developed a series of events together with dealers, restaurateurs and artists. This should attract more locals and visitors to the city again, says the city’s marketing director, Anja Fiedler.

Enjoyment safari and live music
The city center is to be transformed into a gourmet mile for a whole weekend. On a gourmet safari through the Freiberg restaurants, visitors can try finger food, culinary specialties, summer drinks and cocktails. Musicians from the Central Saxon Philharmonic will also be heard at various venues on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. At the end of the event weekend they play “Fiesta Latina” on the Obermarkt at 6 pm.
