The “C’Chartres” seem to sing a soft music in the perspective of summer. Women’s basketball, men’s basketball, volleyball or even football can hope for the best by the end of the (sports) season. What are their chances of reaching the upper floors? We give you our opinion.
1. C’Chartres Volley: the fighters
Well established in N2 since 2019, the CVB renamed CCV did not start the season without ambition. They only have one game to win and will be sure to see the play-offs, five days before the end of the regular season. On an upward slope in 2022 with convincing successes over contenders for the climb (Mondeville and Champagne Basket), the “Bluelights” are currently 3rd in the ranking, in the wake of a river success which will make a mark on Saturday, ahead of the unfortunate Cherbourgeois (83-33). The only downside to their progress: only one team will join the LFB, a climb coveted by Toulouse, the leader and big favorite. But in the play-offs, anything can happen…

3. C’Chartres Basket Masculin: intermittent workers
Irresistible in the face of big chunks, disappointing in the face of non-grade players, the CCBM basketball players (5th in pool B) won, on Friday, at the end of the suspense, their ticket for the Top 10, the winner of which will access the ProB (they will have an additional chance since the winner of the play-offs will also go up). 4. C’Chartres Football: the confusing
A failed start to the season (2 wins in the first 6 days) and an adventure in the Coupe de France (32nd round) took C’Chartres Football away from its major objective: the rise to National. Thierry Bocquet as assistant coach to Jean-Pierre Papin, and former PSG midfielder Clément Chantôme in the workforce, joined the Chartres club in early January. Chance or coincidence: 2022 seems much more favorable to the CCF, still a candidate for accession since it evolves in National 2 (2016). On a series of invincibility of 4 matches (3 victories), the partners of Erwan Colas, 4th in pool A, reduced the gap separating them from the leader Versailles to 8 points, in the space of a month. Trend to be confirmed on Saturday, in a late match, in Rouen.
