Legend Manchester United, Wes Brown, was declared bankrupt by the court. The former Red Devils defender went bankrupt after divorcing his wife.
Brown is a footballer who graduated from the MU academy and appeared for the club in 1996-2011. He played 362 times and won 5 Premier League titles, 2 FA Cups, 2 League Cups and 2 Champions Leagues.
After leaving MU, Brown had defended Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers. The owner of 23 caps in the England National Team retired at the Indian club, Kerala Blasters, in 2018.

The UK Directorate General of Taxes (HMRC) filed a bankruptcy petition against Brown on 27 February 2023. The petition was upheld by the High Court on 12 April and registered in official public records.
This decision added another dark period to Brown’s life. The 43-year-old man previously separated from his wife, Leanne.
Brown and Leanne decided to divorce in December 2021. Both of them ended the household ark that had existed since 2009.
Brown has reportedly moved out of the house he shares with Leanne and their three children. Brown also sold his property in Prestbury, Cheshire, for £4.5 million.
Leanne had talked about the financial problems she and Brown had experienced. He admits that his household life is like living in a ‘bubble’.
“Yeah, we have a beautiful life and all this money and I’m not saying the money isn’t great but when you’re in it you live in this bubble,” Leanne said. The Sun.

“We are the ones who are left to pick up the pieces and bear the brunt of whatever happens at the end of their career,” Leanne revealed.
