Wien – The Austrian Convention Bureau (ACB) invites you this year under the motto “Artificial Intelligence – a lively conference culture. Explore potential.” between July 1st and 3rd for Convention4u 2024 in the Palais Kaufmännischer Verein Linz. The highlight of the annual conference, known as a living laboratory for innovation(s) in the meetings industry, offers a platform for the exchange of the latest findings and developments aim for the future.

Innovation and creativity in the heart of Linz

This year’s Convention4u relies on creative and innovative approaches to meeting planning and doing so sustainably, after all, the aim is to confirm the event as a Green Meeting for the 15th time according to the UZ 62 criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel. Key topics such as artificial intelligence and the integration of Linz’s rich culture and innovative spirit promise to both inform and inspire participants.

We are currently learning to understand how artificial intelligence can make our daily workflow easier. But how can we ensure that AI supports the important changes in our industry? We want to exchange ideas at Convention4u, learn together and thus gain a better understanding“, says ACB President Gerhard Stübe.

This year the beginning of the program will be moderated by event dramas Michael Gleich the AI ​​experts Isabella ClausLeader of thinkers.ai, and Sabine Theresia Köszegi, professor at the TU Vienna and chairman of the UNESCO Advisory Board for the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence in Austria, with her expert views on the opportunities and risks of AI for the conference industry. The diverse laboratory program of the conference creates a common knowledge base for the participants with the knowledge course with interesting application examples and expert input. Interactive session formats such as workshops and discussion groups are intended to provide space for in-depth discussion, personal reflection and individual development.

The event attracts around 200 national professionals from all areas of the meeting industry, from event organisers, Professional Transport Organizers (PCO), players from the hotel industry, conference services and event centers to researchers and technology experts.
