Apple would be done with new product announcements this year. There have already been three events at the end of the year, but Apple should be satisfied with two by 2021, according to Mark Gurman in his weekly newsletter on Bloomberg. A small surprise can never be completely ruled out, but Apple would have nothing more substantial to announce before next year.
Tim Cook and the 2021 MacBook Pro
The journalist is already sketching the start of a roadmap, evoking the launch of a brand new MacBook Air with the biggest design change since 2010. Rumors of an ambitious redesign are indeed more and more insistent. Mark Gurman also mentions the launch of a new high-end iMac with a larger screen, a new Mac mini which is expected to adopt the Apple M1 Pro chip, a new iPhone SE which is said to be a routine update (Apple A14 chip and 5G modem) of the current model, as well as a new iPad Pro that could adopt a titanium chassis, glass back and wireless charging.
