This afternoon, the Internal Security Forces foiled an operation to break out detainees from Jbaa Police Station in Iqlim al-Tuffah.
In detail, the elements responsible for the protection of the Jbaa police station discovered that six of the detainees used spoons and knives to open a gap in the wall adjacent to the road, to sneak in and escape.
Upon discovering this operation, the police station was surrounded by additional security forces, the inmates were transferred to another prison, and an investigation into the circumstances of the incident was opened.
