Just a day before Christmas, Chinese giant Huawei had plans to introduce its new flexible phone. There has been speculation that it could be a clamshell in style Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. But apart from the vague invitation, we had no idea what the upcoming phone would look like. But that has now changed – the new Huawei P50 Pocket appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, a week before the official premiere.

A contribution from a renowned fashion magazine with pictures of actress and singer Guan Xiaotong appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo. Technology enthusiasts, however, were much more interested in the flexible Huawei P50 Pocket phone, which the Chinese artist holds in her hands and thus gives us a premature look at its appearance.

In the pictures you can see the back of the phone, specifically a circular element with three cameras and LED flash and also a second circular element with a display, which works similarly to Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra – for selfie, notifications and always-on. We don’t know much about other specifications, but there is speculation about a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset without a 5G modem, and in the case of three cameras, it should be a main, wide-angle and telephoto lens.
The Huawei P50 Pocket will target those interested in the style
The fact that the Huawei P50 Pocket appeared in a fashion magazine will not be a coincidence. Huawei will probably want to target its flexible phone to a group of people interested in a stylish phone that will certainly not mind the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system.
