VIVA – The world’s COVID-19 cases have not subsided, China again stirred up with a new virus called moneky B (BV). The virus even just took the life of a person veterinarian in Beijing and was confirmed as the first death from the new disease.
Quoted from the page The Health Site, The verified veterinarian declared China’s first case of human infection with virus Monkey B (BV) and has now also died. The 53-year-old veterinarian works at a non-human primate research institute.
Prior to his death, the doctor experienced nausea and vomiting a month after dissecting two dead monkeys in early March 2021, according to the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Veterinarians’ family members, on the other hand, are said to be uninfected by the disease

As per reports, the vet sought treatment at various facilities before passing away on 27 May. The journal further states that to date, there have been no fatal or even clinically proven BV infections in China.
