NEW YORK – An FDNY fire truck collided with another vehicle and a building in Brooklyn Sunday night.
The incident occurred on U Avenue and 4th Street in the Gravesend sector around 11:30 p.m. when the fire truck was responding to a fire elsewhere when it struck the driver of a Mercedes and then crashed into the store. Children’s clothing.
A civilian and six firefighters were transported to different hospitals after the impact. All are in stable conditions.
Other residents of the same area were evacuated as a precaution.
