Financial Advisors Divided on Approval of Bitcoin ETF in 2024: Survey

A new survey conducted by digital asset manager Bitwise and ETF data provider VettaFi has revealed a marked divergence in expectations among financial advisors regarding the approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF in 2024, news reports said.

Reports indicated that while the survey indicated continued client interest in various digital currencies, the survey revealed remaining barriers that financial advisors face, such as limited access to digital currencies, regulatory uncertainty, and concerns about market volatility.

Reports continued that less than half of the advisors surveyed (about 39%) expect to approve a spot Bitcoin ETF in 2024, which is in sharp contrast to the estimates of Bloomberg ETF analysts, who expressed 90% optimism about the possibility of approval of currency exchange-traded funds.
