The filmmaker of Latin origin, Vee Bravo, will premiere his film FIRST Line of Defense in Chile, within the framework of the twentieth edition of the Tribeca Film Festival.

FIRST is a documentary feature film that collects various details of the social uprising that is still in force in this South American nation, having as narrative thread four Chilean citizens, as diverse as all the anonymous protagonists of this struggle to achieve democracy.

The film is dedicated to reconstructing the social struggle of Chileans who are trying to obtain a new Magna Carta that separates itself from the shadow of Pinochet and that is more in line with a modern national project.

Throughout the conversation, the filmmaker explains the vicissitudes he faced to make his film, as he also personally dealt with more than 40 years of exile.

While establishing the parallels between the Latin American nations and their constant evolution.

FIRST will be screened online, internationally, on June 12 at 6:00 pm
