Of movie Muidhond by director Patrice Toye has been voted best film at the Gangneung International Film Festival, in South Korea. The Flemish Audiovisual Fund (VAF) reports this on Saturday.

Muidhond was the closing film of this year’s festival Women write, films remember theme.
Muidhond, Toye’s fourth feature, paints the portrait of a young man struggling with pedophile feelings. It is the film adaptation of the much-discussed debut novel (from 2015) by the Dutch author Inge Schilperoord.
The film premiered on it last October Film fest gent, where he also won the audience award.
