A man and his four-year-old daughter died in a swimming lake in Bavaria. The family of four went to the lake on Thursday morning to go for a swim. Suddenly the father and daughter had disappeared, the wife and mother had reported the two missing. In the video we show the images of the search, which unfortunately came to a tragic end.

The mother was left with a second child in her place on the lake in Trebgast north of Bayreuth, while the 27-year-old was out on the grounds with the little daughter. When they did not return after two and a half hours, the police, ambulance, water guard and fire brigade started a search. The young mother suffered a shock and is now receiving medical and pastoral care. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
