A serious accident occurred at night on the capital’s Slivnitsa Blvd. and Konstantin Velichkov Blvd. – according to initial information after a race with the police.
According to initial data they died on the spot a boy and a girl. There is conflicting information as to whether they were crossing a crosswalk or were on the sidewalk.
According to information from Emergency Service for bTV, the girl had no documents and was 18-19 years old. The boy is 23 years old.
The incident was reported at 12:23 a.m. Emergency services responded within minutes, two ambulances were dispatched. The two young men had very serious injuries.
They were hit by a young driver who recently got a license. He didn’t stop at a traffic light and the police has started a pursuit. The driver tested negative for alcohol and drugs. He was taken into custody, there were no injuries.
This morning traffic was still blocked on Slivnitsa Blvd. in the direction of the center. Official information from the police is awaited.
