A jeep hit a pedestrian in the “Kniazhevo” district – at the last stop of tram No. 5.
The incident took place on “Tsar Boris III” Blvd. and “Zvezditsa” St., the report was filed shortly after 8 p.m.

Emergency services said that an ambulance passing by, headed for another address, stopped at the scene of the accident.
However, the medics were only able to ascertain the death of the 55-year-old man.

The owner of the car is a 33-year-old man, bTV learned. It is still unclear what caused the fatal accident.
The driver will be tested for alcohol and drugs.
