This Sunday, Spotify presents us with the list of the 50 most listened songs in Chile, where reggaeton from Farruko, “Pepas”, returned to first place in the ranking, dethroning the hit “Volví” by Bad Bunny and Aventura.
At the same time, Rauw Alejandro definitely left the ranking of the 10 most viewed with “Todo de ti”, reaching 12th place, and the Chilean Marcianeke bursts into fourth place, along with Pailita, with “Tell me Ma.”

More than 17 years have passed since reggaeton settled in our country and today it is the undisputed king of Spotify. In fact, in a study dating from 2019, the streaming platform revealed that Santiago de Chile is the city where the genre is most listened to in the world.
There are more than 400 million reproductions of reggaeton, per month, and only in Santiago is concentrated 10% of the reproductions of reggaeton in the world. The average fan listens to about 126 songs a month, more than double the average number of songs listened to by fans in other cities where the genre is popular.
