George Marianovic passed away at the age of 90
Famous Serbian singer George Marianovic died today at the age of 90 from the effects of COVID-19, Tanjug reported. The famous singer was put on a respirator and in recent days doctors have been fighting for his life.
A famous Serbian singer lost the battle with COVID-19
George Marianovic was the biggest Yugoslav and Serbian music star during the SFRY, with a career spanning more than half a century.
Among his most famous songs are “Lazarella”, “Romana”, “My Crazy Heart” and others.
