Features Facebook Dark Mode suddenly disappears from the application Android and iOS. Facebook’s Dark Mode has disappeared without notification because it is considered to be a heavy display feature to operate. This is different from Facebook’s ‘default’ mode.
According to some users, after updating version 319.0.0.38.119 on iOS was updated six days ago, the app reportedly has no problem even though dark mode is activated.
One user explained that the issue appears to have occurred with the older version 320.0.0.36.122 released.
Quoted Tech Radar, this is not the first time this has happened. Earlier in early May Android users reported on a similar situation which resolved itself without confirmation or warning from Facebook.
Some users reported that Facebook’s dark mode suddenly reappeared after reportedly disappearing on May 26, 2021.
It shows that Facebook has provided updates faster.
Facebook claims that it has resolved the issue with the Android app, which means Android users can re-enable dark mode in the near future.
“We have restored services for those who are experiencing technical problems that have caused some people to have difficulty accessing certain features in the Facebook Android app,” the spokesperson said.
Quoted Toms Guide, Facebook users can now activate Facebook’s Dark Mode by opening the hamburger icon on the mobile app, selecting Settings & Privacy and setting it to Dark Mode.
