Perseverance a year on Mars – Rover and helicopter break r

After a journey of 471 million kilometers and a landing in 7 ‘horrorminuten’ NASA’s Mars rover Perseverance reached the red planet a year ago. Since then, the cart has traveled miles in Jezero Crater, sending more than 100,000 photos back to Earth, drilling holes in rock, storing samples in tubes and flying a helicopter.

The minimum duration of the Mars 2020 mission is two years. Now that the first year is over, we look back on the discoveries made and the milestones achieved. We also look ahead, because although half of the minimum mission duration has already been completed, Perseverance has only just begun.
