Warm summer weather and, of course, the nine-euro ticket again caused overcrowded regional trains in Lower Saxony on Whitsunday – just like the day before.
Deutsche Bahn warned on Sunday via Twitter: “Currently exceptionally high occupancy. Ride cannot be guaranteed.” The routes to and from the North Sea coast between Hanover and Norddeich and between Osnabrück and Bremerhaven were particularly affected. Crowded trains already on Saturday

Pro Bahn warns: “Social responsibility of all travelers”
