Together with the insurance company MotorEasy, experts interviewed more than 25,000 owners of various large crossovers. They found out what kind of breakdowns they encountered during the operation of their cars.
Also, the owners of crossovers shared how much it cost them to repair cars and how long it took to troubleshoot. After that, the experts assigned each model its reliability rating.

9. BMW X3 (diesel)

BMW X3 has excellent handling and good reliability. Only 17% of the owners of the diesel version of the crossover experienced breakdowns in two years of operation.
About a quarter of the cars were under repair for more than a week. Often problems were fixed in just a day or even faster.
8. Honda CR-V (Diesel)
The diesel version of the Honda CR-V rarely causes problems for its owners

The Honda CR-V is valued for its spaciousness and good comfort. The model has gained an excellent reputation for its reliability, but diesel cars most often suffer from breakdowns.
16% of the owners of this crossover experienced breakdowns. Often they were related to the battery, engine or exhaust system.
7. Mitsubishi Outlander (hybrid)
