The police started an investigation and were able to identify the suspect fairly quickly thanks to images on social media. The suspect was filmed by a nuisance camera at one of the places where he struck. The 32-year-old man admitted the facts almost immediately. He was not yet known to the police.

The local police Neteland had been actively looking for the exhibitionist for a while. “He is always looking for playgrounds and appeals to children,” said Commissioner Dirk Van Peer earlier on the matter. “He then pulls his pants down and immediately runs off. It has also happened that he drops a 5 euro note to attract the attention of the children and then takes his pants down again. ”
According to previous statements, it was a skinny man between 30 and 40 years old with a stubble. On social media, witnesses also mentioned a dot in the hair of the suspect.
