Excellent in Provisional Results of the US Presidential Election, Biden is Optimistic and Calls for People to Be Calm

DELAWARE, KOMPAS.com – The Democrats’ incumbent presidential challenger, Joe Biden, calling on the American people to be calm, Thursday (5/11/2020).

He also continued that he was sure to beat Donald Trump when the election count ends.

“We continue to be very happy with what happened,” Biden was quoted as saying ABC“We have no doubt that when the count is over, (vice presidential candidate Kamala) Harris and I will be announced as winners.”

“I ask everyone to stay calm. Everyone to stay calm. The process is ongoing. The calculations still have to be completed, and we will know (the results) soon.”

Biden also asked Americans to be patient. “In America, the right to vote is sacred. This is how the people of this nation express their desires,” Biden said.

“It is the desire of the electorate, not others, that will determine the president of the United States.”

“So every vote has to be counted and that way we’ll see from now on, and that’s how it should be.”

Biden also said, “Democracy sometimes falls apart. Sometimes it takes a little patience too.”

“However, that patience has now been rewarded for more than 240 years with a system of government that is the envy of the world.”

Trump has not made a public appearance since his statement on election night that he claimed victory and beckoned a lawsuit to the Supreme Court.

He continued to call for the counting to stop on Twitter in the days following the election.

Biden also spoke about the coronavirus pandemic in the US, conveying his sorrow and sorrow Kamala Harris against the family of people who have died from the virus.
