Exams begin at the UNED in Cádiz

The more than three thousand students of the UNED Center in Cádiz begin their exams today, Monday, May 23, in a series of tests that will end on June 10. The system, according to reports from the university center itself, allows students to choose between attending their subjects in the first or second week, which makes it easier to reconcile family and professional life with attendance at tests.

Forecasts indicate an attendance of almost 4,000 students at the center of the Plaza de San Antonio, with four daily sessions. The virtual suitcase program issues the same exam for each subject in the 61 UNED Centers at the same time, so the principle of equality is guaranteed.

The Center has provided a protocol of measures to provide security with classrooms planned for special cases and students with disabilities. In this sense, the student is invited and recommended to attend with a mask.

From the direction of the center it is reported that in this course the classes have returned to normal, with face-to-face and semi-face-to-face modalities, having significantly increased both attendance at the Center and the connections of students to virtual tutorials.

Likewise, since May 19, the UNED has opened the pre-registration period for new students in university master’s degrees. Due to the fact that the demand for pre-registration applications for official master’s degrees is considerably higher than the number of places offered, only one application per student is accepted each academic year. If the student is not admitted, she will be able to make a new application in the master’s degrees that offer vacant places in September, once her previous application has been cancelled.
