The European League of Football (ELF) should in Summer 2021 initially start with eight teams. Including six teams from Germany and one each from Poland and Spain.
Confirmed teams or locations for the first season are:
- Stuttgart Scorpions
- Ingolstadt Praetorians
- Berlin
- Hamburg Sea Devils
- Frankfurt Galaxy
- German Knights 1367 Lower Saxony
- Wroclaw Panthers – three times Polish champion
- Barcelona Gladiators
In the long term, the league should grow to up to 24 teams from several European countries. Unlike in Germany, the game is played according to the rules of the NFL.
The ELF is supposed to offer the rapidly growing group of football fans a highly attractive product during the NFL-free time from June to September. This is not only staged appropriately in the media and offered to a broad audience on free TV and digital channels, but also as a live experience in the stadiums.
Tickets for the ELF are available here at Ticketmaster
