In addition, stricter coronavirus measures apply in Baku than in Budapest, where 7,000 Czech fans drove the national team forward on Sunday in the 2-0 final win over the Netherlands.
Supporters on the way to the match must submit either a negative PCR test for coronavirus, which will not be older than 72 hours, completed vaccination, or proof of disease. At the same time, the local authorities issue special visas on the basis of a ticket. In addition, it is necessary to have a negative PCR test for leaving the country and to return to the Czech Republic after isolation. Its length depends on whether the person in question has completed the vaccination.
While the Czechs have to undergo a control PCR test in their homeland after spending from Azerbaijan and spend time in isolation, the Danes do not have to quarantine. The Nordic fan club has already announced that it will send 1,000 fans to Baku in an organized manner.
At noon, the pre-sale of tickets for the match for fan club members began on the UEFA portal. Each fan can buy a maximum of four tickets for the quarterfinals as well as for the round of 16. Tickets can be purchased in three price categories from 75 euros (1913 crowns) to 225 euros (5738 crowns). Due to the pandemic, the capacity in Baku is halved and 31,000 spectators can go to the auditorium of the Olympic Stadium.
