The Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service has said that Russia may launch a new invasion of Ukraine in the second half of February. Such predictions were published on the intelligence site yesterday, February 15th.

“According to our assessment, the Russian armed forces are ready to launch a full-scale military operation against Ukraine from the second half of February. After reaching military readiness, only a political decision will be required to start the operation,” the statement said.
Estonian intelligence showed a map – it shows the “goals” of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, which the Russians allegedly identified for themselves. The neutralization of these goals, according to Estonian intelligence, may interfere with the work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and energy supply in Ukraine. At the same time, Russian intelligence has similar maps for other European countries, according to Estonian intelligence.

The intelligence service noted that the deployment of Russian troops near the borders of Ukraine is the largest military buildup of the Russian Federation over the past 30 years (about 150,000 people). In addition to three motorized rifle divisions, one airborne division and one marine brigade permanently stationed in the region, the Russian Federation deployed more than 60 motorized rifle and tank battalions, about 10 Iskander missile battalions and more than 30 artillery and rocket artillery battalions to the region. The contingent is supported by the Russian Air Force and the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, equipped with Kalibr missiles.
