Nightdive Studios has released a new video of Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition to show the process of remastering of the films, which however remained identical from the point of view of direction and content.
Basically in the video they are put to comparison the original sequences with the remastered ones, made more defined and fluid thanks to the use of artificial intelligence.
For those unfamiliar with it, Blade Runner is a wonderful and innovative graphic adventure from Westwood Studios originally released in 1997. By far, one of the best video games inspired by the cyberpunk genre. After years of disappearing from the market, Nightdive has obtained the rights to make a remastered version, hoping that it will also appeal to modern players.
Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition is expected to be released by the end of 2020 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Unfortunately he doesn’t have one yet official date, so we have to be content with a generic exit window.
