The statement mentions that from now on people will have to call him Elliot and use the pronouns he and them. In a moving message he dedicated to trans people, he commented that he will do everything possible to defend the community.

Elliot wrote that he is grateful to the people who have supported him in his transition, as thanks to them he decided to reveal that he is transgender.

On the other hand, Elliot Page asked for patience, since although he is happy for being a trans person, he is also afraid of the reaction that people may have with him at this time. In addition, he mentioned the cases of murders that have been registered in 2020 against trans people.
