The actressHunger Games will play the famous Miss Bille-en-Tête, mistress of the “Magic Bus”, in a feature film in preparation.
You once envied the (very hectic) class of the Magic Bus? She is back in a live-action film at Universal. Inspired by the literary saga of Joanna Cole, the cartoon punctuated the snack breaks of all children in the 1990s. Miss Bille-en-Tête and her students set off to explore space, the oceans or even the human body thanks to a because yellow capable of transforming into a surfboard, spaceship or submarine. Hélène Chanson lent her voice to the teacher. The cartoon, which became cult, was broadcast for 18 consecutive years in the United States and in more than 100 countries, including in France between 1994 and 1997.

A new adaptation of the franchise with Elizabeth Banks
According to Variety, Elizabeth Banks will play the famous professor in the next reboot of the franchise. “We are delighted to bring the iconic Miss Frizzle to life [Mademoiselle Bille-en-Tête, ndlr] and his taste for knowledge and adventure in a new way that inspires the next generation of children to explore science and supports dedicated teachers who help make science real and accessible to young learners every day ” , Lole Lucchese, one of the producers, said in a statement.
Recall that in 2017, Netflix had already released a new animated version called The new adventures of the magic bus. This third adaptation will be produced by Scholastic Entertainment, already at the head of the two films Goosebumps with Jack Black.
