ELECTIONS – I fear: “Protests are led by people who do not want elections”

Santo Domingo, RD.

The president of the Dominican Liberation Party, Temístocles Montás, said that the protests that have been taking place in the country against the Central Electoral Board are led by people who do not want the elections to be held.

Montás asked journalists to investigate because “we have the information on where the calls come from and all that kind of thing.”

“Everything is directed by people who do not want the elections to be held. That’s true. People who do not want the elections to be held. You visualize, investigate as journalists because we have the information where the calls come from and all that kind of thing.

People who do not want to face reality, ”said Montás interviewed on the Hoy Hoy program, broadcast on the Color Vision channel.

On the statements he had given that the PLD had a system that allowed him to know what was happening in each polling station hour by hour, he said they have misrepresented everything.

“Here all the parties have their standards where their people are organized. Already by technology allows you to organize your militants at the polling station level. The PLD has its electoral roll and allows us to know table by table. We try to ensure that those who sympathize with us will vote.

They are people who have previously said they will vote for the PLD.

Direct contact is made, called by phone, ”he said during the interview.
