jpnn.com, JAKARTA – A year after the 2019 elections passed, the map of political party strength has not changed much, especially at the top. PDIP who won the last two elections is still undefeated, even widening the distance with its competitors.

This was revealed from the results of a New Indonesia survey that had just been released.

“The electability of PDIP is still the highest and has increased to 29.3 percent, proving that PDIP is still strong,” said New Indonesia Research & Consulting Executive Director Andreas Nuryono in a press release in Jakarta on Sunday (28/6).

Gerindra and Golkar followed in the second and third positions, with electability of 12.5 percent and 9.7 percent respectively.

The rest of the map of political parties is not too much different from the vote in the 2019 election. Except for the PSI which failed to qualify for parliament last year, but has now skyrocketed to the middle board.

PKB occupies the fourth position with 6.8 percent, followed by PKS (5.5 percent), PSI (4.2 percent), Nasdem (4.1 percent), Democrats (3.8 percent), PPP (2.4 percent) , and PAN (1.6 percent).

“Compared to the results of the 2019 elections, only PDIP and the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) experienced an increase in electability,” Andreas said.

According to Andreas, PSI’s performance at the DPRD level has proven to be as effective as PDIP at the national level.
