Eintracht Frankfurt and Aymen Barkok will probably go their separate ways from summer 2022. According to a “Bild” report, it can even be sold in winter.

The 23-year-old Frankfurter boy has to, according to one Report of the “Bild” newspaper Look for a new club by next summer at the latest.
Internally, the Frankfurt bosses should already agree that they don’t want to offer the Moroccan a new contract.
Since Barkok’s working paper expires at the end of the season, this would be tantamount to saying goodbye to the Frankfurt home grown.

If a suitable offer for the attacking midfielder arrives in winter, those responsible for Eintracht would not be averse to selling Barkok ahead of time, so the “Bild” report continues.
In this way, the SGE could still collect a small transfer fee, which would be a welcome source of income in view of the financially difficult Corona situation.

Barkok switched to Eintracht Frankfurt’s junior team in 2013 and went through all youth teams. With the exception of his loan to Fortuna Düsseldorf between 2018 and 2020, the noble technician wore the eagle jersey without interruption.
His performances were always very unsteady, and a great game was often followed by less good games.
Last season, Barkok played 28 games for Eintracht, where he contributed two goals and three assists for his team.

This year, however, the right foot is almost completely left out and comes to just five competitive games (no goal participation) for the Hessians.
Since the Moroccan and his national team will play at the Africa Cup in early 2022, a sale and possible negotiations in winter could be a difficult undertaking.
For Barkok himself, on the other hand, the Africa Cup is a good chance to play in the focus of other teams and thus create a good starting position for the transfer period in summer 2022.
