A source close to Abdullah Gomaa, the first football star in Zamalek, revealed the fact that the player was attacked by unknown persons yesterday.
The source confirmed, in exclusive statements to “Echo of the Country,” that the player is completely healthy and has not been attacked by unknown persons, denouncing the news of the assault and his injury.
There were reports during the past hours that unknown assailants attacked and injured Abdullah Jumah and Imam Ashour the two stars of Zamalek.
Zamalek will face its Tunisian counterpart, Esperance next Friday, in the away leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-final match.
