During a nuisance patrol, members of the prostitution team noticed a building in Oudemansstraat, in the Schipperskwartier, on Saturday afternoon, where several people rang the doorbell. Each time a key was thrown down from the window and the people entered. There was music and voices from several people.
When the police rang the bell, the window was closed and those present tried to keep quiet, but the door was eventually opened anyway. Fourteen people (in their thirties and forties) were found celebrating a birthday. All those present were fined and the party ended.
In the Acacialaan in Wilrijk, four people were fined who held a garden party. When the police arrived, some of those present were able to flee.
Been caught several times
In the Grote Pieter Potstraat, in the center of the city, the police had to intervene twice in a hotel during the night. There a party was resumed despite the intervention of the police. Among those present (in their twenties) were several people who had already run into the lamp several times. In the end, some of these frequent offenders were arrested administratively. Two minors were given a ride back home.

I call on all Antwerp residents to persevere and to observe the rules. Because those who don’t will suffer the consequences.
