JAKARTA, Suaramerdeka.com – The women’s volleyball final qualifying match for PON XXI 2024 was warmly presented at Gor Bulungan Jakarta on Sunday (29/10/2023).
In the volleyball final, the East Java volleyball team managed to win the match and become the first champion pre-PON 2023.
East Java managed to win first place in three straight sets. During the match, East Java dominated the match.

Meanwhile, the Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) team, which had tried hard, had to give in and become runners up in the 2024 PON XXI qualifications.
In the first set, East Java continued to press the match and managed to take the lead with a fairly large score of 25-15.
Meanwhile in the second set, East Java again dominated the fierce match. As a result, East Java won the second match with a score of 25-18.

Then in the third set, East Java managed to close down the resistance and crush the hopes of the Yogyakarta team with a score of 25-18.
East Java, which dominated the three sets, managed to launch 49 attacks, while DIY was only able to respond with 32 attacks.
Likewise with the number of blocks, East Java managed to outperform DIY with a difference in total blocks of 3.

With this result, East Java managed to top the final standings for pre-PON 2023 or qualifying for PON XXI 2024.
