NEW YORK – A car collided with a group of protesters at an intersection in Manhattan on Friday afternoon, New York City Police said. Given this, the authorities reported that the driver was taken into custody.
According to the report, the accident occurred around 4:03 pm on Friday, on the east corner of 39th Street and Third Avenue.
The number of pedestrians who were struck or their condition is unknown.
