Do you still remember how you played against each other for the first time?
Lukáš: I was already in Slovácko and my brother was still in Ostrožská Nová Ves. But now it will be something completely different. It can’t even be compared. At that time we were still starting, at the moment we are going against each other like league players. But it’s great that we can play a professional competition against each other.
Michal:If I remember correctly, I started on the bench. The coach first wanted to know what position his brother would play. Then, in the second minute, he sent me into the game to play him.

Tactical move?
Michal: Yes. When we were little, we went to the field together to train, we always played against each other. The coach expected to know him and I would know how to make the game more difficult for him.
Lukáš: (laughs) I remember that match, too. My brother held me like a tick and I know it was uncomfortable. I think he kept that style. It is terribly unpleasant for all players. I’m curious.
Now you’ll probably run into you often too, won’t you?
Lukáš:We will move in roughly the same spaces, so it is probably clear that we will meet in many fights. I am looking forward to it so much. At the same time, I don’t know what to expect, because it will definitely be weird to play against my brother. But on the field it will simply be an opponent, otherwise you probably can’t even perceive it.

Michal: I have the same opinion. Before and after the match, we talk to our brother as a brother, but on the pitch you don’t notice that much. Maybe only when something happens, there will be a foul on one of the two of us and the game will be interrupted, so at that moment one may realize the situation, but everything else is beyond the passion for the game.
A perfect knowledge of each other from childhood has survived to this day?
Michal: Even though I was in Holland, I watched my brother every week. I know its advantages and we will definitely be ready for it. I don’t know if the coach will want the same thing as the students, but it will be an interesting duel.
Can you surprise with anything at all?
Lukáš:I think yes. We know each other very well and it is true that we know what to expect from each other. However, you decide on the field in a second. In my opinion, many times a person does not know what to do until the last moment. The moment of surprise is definitely there. And we probably won’t play a person that we just run together. We will also come across other players.

Who will the parents support?
Michal: I have no idea. I think the main thing for them will be for the match to work out for both of them. I was at home just last weekend and my mother and grandfather probably experience it the most. However, when I came to Liberec to host, she was the first to be asked at work when we would play against each other. A lot of people from our surroundings will probably watch it.
Lukáš:Sure, my friends ask me about it, but the family will really experience it the most. And I think they have the great advantage in this match that whoever wins will be happy and rejoice. They will certainly be impartial and will want, as always, for both of them to prosper.

And what about your teammates, are you dealing with your fight in the cabins?
Michal: It was solved for us this week. I hear various hints. For example, since now my brother has scored in two matches in a row, Miky (Mikula, captain of Liberec) dug into me that they must have the worse Sadílek. It will also be interesting for other players. I’ll probably have to write a reward in the cabin.
Lukáš: It’s similar with us. I also feel the clues, a lot of people remind me of it, and this week is more complicated in the cabin … I’ll probably have to promise the boys something too if we win there. Something big to keep them motivated. (smiles)
You must have such a huge one in Slovácko, right? In the last four matches in Liberec, you faced six penalties and received four red cards. Does it give each other an even bigger spark?
Lukáš:However, when he was in Slovácko on the weekend, he stopped by my place and I already reminded him … I pushed him that if it is red again and he will see a penalty, he will see … When we go to Liberec with the boys, then we will discuss this topic some hints always appear. Because we haven’t met very well in the last matches. I hope that these times have rang and we will finally finish in Liberec at eleven and without penalties.

Do you already have a drink in Liberec?
Lukáš: Actually, a little bit. When we go there, we know it will be hard there. But maybe it’s a coincidence. However, when about a year and a half ago, three penalties per match were kicked against us, I never experienced it and I will probably never forget it.
Michal: I remember the match, I watched him. I know that these are very emotional matches and Slovácko has always had a hard time with it and they felt wrong. I hope that the match will be in the spirit of fair play and that the surrounding influences will not interfere much.
By the way, there was also the possibility that you would be a guest from PSV in Slovakia instead of in Liberec. How much did it take you to play together now?
Michal: This possibility was there, but I also had in my head that my brother was there and what if it happened that I would not play for him or vice versa? I wanted to prevent that. And European cups were also decided for Liberec, six more quality matches. I hope that this will still happen and we will meet, for example, at the end of our career, preferably in Slovakia.
Lukáš: I’m a little sorry we can’t play together, it would definitely be interesting and I’d look forward to it. But it can also be understood, Liberec plays the European League and PSV or other clubs have more in sight. I’m proud he made it to Eindhoven so far. You’ve been walking since she was a child. For example, when I trained something at home and my brother saw it, he immediately started doing it too. He was always very determined and tried to match me and the older players.
