In Racing it is a good news Friday. The practice took place under a bright sun at the Tita Mattiussi Estate and had the pleasant news that the Academy was able to recover the four members of the professional staff who had tested positive for coronavirus.
Alexis Soto and the kid Tiago Banega, together with the physical trainer Martín Bressan and the kinesiologist Rosendo Regueiro, returned to their usual tasks. After Thursday’s result in which all four tested negative and with no traces of the virus in their bodies, they returned to training with a smile.
While the kinesiologist rejoined the group of professionals in his area, the physical trainer closely followed the movements of Soto and Banega in a group made up of only the three of them. The idea is that from Monday they join the group.
This Friday, the rest of his colleagues did work with joint mobility, postural and preventive exercises and the middle zone. In addition, there was dexterity in individual technique and conceptual tasks.
According to the protocol, next week the Academy will be able to train with the entire group and will begin to intensify preparations for September 17, the date on which the Copa Libertadores against Nacional will resume in Montevideo.. ¡If el Racing de Beccacece comes!
Racing and its preseason place
At first the option was Mar del Plata. The DT had planned to move to that city and from there to work. But they already lowered his thumb. The reasons are twofold: sanitary precautions and high economic costs. Therefore, two options emerge as an alternative. The first, and least likely, is the AFA property. Víctor Blanco maintains a very good relationship with Chiqui Tapia and the Ezeiza property has everything necessary for them to remain isolated and work at the same time. But for these hours it is the coldest option.
The second alternative is the one with the best chance: continue training at the Tita campus and hold the concentration at the Hotel Savoy, owned by the president of Racing.. From there they would take buses to the premises every day.
