Israa al-Liwah, the daughter of doctor Ahmed Al-Luha, who died after he was infected with the Corona virus, said: “Our Lord, have mercy on my father and consider him as God of the martyrs,” noting that she entered the quarantine on March 29 on the same day that her late father died and hours after arriving at the isolation hospital Abu Khalifa learned of the death of her father.
In a telephone interview with the “Cairo Now” program broadcast on Al Arabiya satellite channel, the event presented by Mays Al-Hadidi, she revealed that the total checks she had over the 26 days were positive and 2 were negative, revealing that the doctors initially told her that her young age helped her to recover Early within 10 days or 14 days, but the entry of the virus to her was strong, which affected the prolongation of her recovery period. She continued, “The length of time made me startled, shocked, and the doctors surprised, especially with my younger age.”
She recounted her experience with the symptoms of the virus saying, “The first thing I felt was a high temperature that was followed by severe shortness of breath, followed by a cough that came as the last symptom, and it continued with me until today.”
She said that her mother was also infected with the virus, but with milder symptoms, and she stayed with her during the quarantine period at Abu Al Khalifa Hospital, and left her five days before, noting that her younger brother is the only survivor of the family to catch the Coruna virus.
