Discordia invests 5 million euros in digitalization, wants to be in the Top 10 of Europe

The Bulgarian transport and logistics company Discordia invested EUR 5 million in its digital transformation. This is part of its large-scale plan to become one of the leading European companies in the industry, after it is already #1 in our country with a fleet of 1000 trucks.

For this purpose, Discordia is expanding its IT team and integrating the latest generation of business and transport management systems. These are two of the company’s main priorities in 2023.

Discordia became the largest transport company in Bulgaria with a fleet of 1000 trucks

The company has recorded average annual growth of over 40% each of the last five years

A cloud-to-cloud solution was chosen, which will allow the processes to be fully digitized. The two new systems that are about to go live are OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) and ERP-SAP S/4HANA RISE Private Cloud. Apart from them, there will also be software that will be specially developed for Discordia.

“I am glad that together with my colleagues we have the chance to change the transport industry by combining the potential of our business model with these high-tech systems and additional IT solutions that we will create with our team,” said Deputy Executive Director Kalin Petrov.

Discordia continues to hire

The Bulgarian company, which gives up to 3,000 euros to drivers, is looking for more employees

The company plans to invest over BGN 200 million over the next three years

Discordia’s plans are to enter the Top 10 of the transport industry in Europe and have 10,000 employees by 2030.
