8:40. “We are not in an epidemic, the epidemic is approaching”, adds the Minister of Health.
8:35. “A hundred patients remain hospitalized”, including ten in “intensive care”. The Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, gives news of the sick on BFMTV.
8:10. Prohibition of public gatherings in Morbihan. The Morbihan prefecture is taking a certain number of measures to stem the outbreak of coronavirus identified in the department.
8:05. 19 cases confirmed in Brittany, including 12 in Morbihan. The Brittany Regional Health Agency reports 19 cases. To these cases are added, 12 cases in Morbihan: six in Crac’h, two in Auray, three in Carnac and one in Saint-Philibert.

It is the main focus in France: the Oise remains the department most affected by the coronavirus, with “64 cases in total linked to transmission chains” coming from this area according to the Ministry of Health. Two of the three deaths were also recorded in this department.
7:46. Global growth under threat. According to the OECD, global growth should not exceed 2.4% this year, and the global economy could even experience a recession in the first quarter due to the epidemic. 7:12. Reflux confirmed in China. According to authorities, Covid-19 has killed 31 people, all located in Hubei, the province of which Wuhan is the capital. The death toll is therefore 2,943 across the country.
7:05. The world “in unknown land”, according to the WHO. “Never before have we seen a respiratory pathogen capable of community transmission, but which can also be contained if we take the right measures,” says the boss of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
6:45. Coronavirus kills 3,083 worldwide. The number of cases worldwide is 90,151, including 3,083 deaths, in 73 countries and territories, including 80,026 cases in China alone.
6:40. Four new dead in the United States. Four new deaths are registered, bringing to six the number of deaths on the American territory, with the two cases announced this weekend, all in the State of Washington (Northwest).
