Five hundred and fifty-nine donors took action to save lives during the inter-agency blood donation challenge which took place from January 25 to February 13 in Dijon.
Fifty-one companies, associations and sports clubs have succeeded in convincing their employees or volunteers to participate in this solidarity challenge. “We are proud of this mass mobilization which has helped raise the level of stocks of regional blood products and thus meet the needs of patients,” explains Capucine Bourson, communications officer at the French Blood Establishment Burgundy-Franche- County, in charge of this operation.

A first for eighty-five donors
Among the participants, eighty-five people were donating blood for the first time and would be ready to repeat the process.
In terms of results, it is the indestructible Charline & Cie team (winner in 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2020), with Groupama Grand-Est, Is-Accordinggey Football and AJVN, which again won this challenge, with four – twenty-one donors, including eleven new ones.
