Digital transformation is inevitable trend, PM says | Science

Hanoi (VNA) – On December 11, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh participated in the 3rd Vietnam National Digital Technology Business Development Forum under the theme “Digital Transformation – Driving Force of Economic Recovery and Development” .

This forum was organized by the Ministry of Information and Communication at the National Conference Center in My Dinh, Hanoi. It saw the participation of leaders from different ministries, representatives of companies and organizations, as well as many researchers. Participants sought measures to promote digital transformation, contributing to economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

In his speech, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that digital transformation is an inevitable trend in the world. People and businesses are the center, goal and driving force of digital transformation. And all policies must therefore be people and business oriented.

The head of government also stressed that digital transformation must promote sustainable development, contributing to the response to COVID-19, to socio-economic recovery and development, to resilience and adaptation to climate change … The biggest goal is to bring happier life to the people and make the country more prosperous and powerful.

Pham Minh Chinh called on relevant bodies and businesses to seek to improve institutions and promote innovation and creativity to develop digital technologies.

As part of the Forum, the Prime Minister attended several events, including the 2021 “Make in Vietnam” digital technology product awards ceremony and the 2021 “Make in Vietnam” product exhibition. -VNA
