Ozempic, a prescription diabetes drug, is becoming increasingly popular among people who want to lose weight. So much so that in certain regions of our country there is a risk of a shortage for diabetes patients. In Limburg, the Royal Limburg Pharmacists’ Association is calling on diabetics to stock up on a new dose of the drug in time. “Demand has exploded,” says the pharmacists’ association.
