The Indonesian Pediatrician Association (IDAI) has just released a guide to self-isolation in children through its website.

According to the professional organization, children who are allowed to self-isolate are asymptomatic or asymptomatic. Has mild symptoms such as cough, runny nose, fever, diarrhea, vomiting, rash.

The next requirement is that the child is active and can eat and drink on their own. Parents are also advised to teach proper cough etiquette, and monitor symptoms or complaints regularly.

Regularly check the child’s body temperature twice a day, and make sure the air circulation in the house is well maintained.

IDAI recommends that parents or caregivers who care for the child are recommended to have a low risk of Covid-19 symptoms.
