Recently Apple launched a new model of Homepodwhich has led to speculation that an upgrade to the Homepod Mini is on the way.
According to Bloomberg’s technology writer Mark Gurman however, there is no indication that Apple is working on an imminent upgrade to the half-sized smart speaker.
Aside from new colors and price tweaks, there just isn’t enough to change.
Then it might be better for Apple to focus on the software, and there we will see more news already in the update to version 16.3 which is released this week.
Of course, it is not out of the question that Apple will launch a new model of Homepod Mini in 2024 or 2025, but expect the current model to be around for a while longer.
