It already seemed very unlikely: a (very) exclusive Sony title that is also immediately available for PC at launch. But during the unveiling of gameplay footage for Demon’s Souls Remake it was really there. Sony soon took the trailer offline again and declared it a ‘human error’ to Kotaku.
Souls-fans had a blast at yesterday’s PlayStation 5 presentation. For the first time in-game images were shown of the long-awaited Demon’s Souls Remake, which has been in development for PS5 by Sony together with BluePoint Games for some time now. Most notably, the text below could be read at the end of the trailer:
The trailer disappeared soon after publication from Sony’s official YouTube channel, only to be re-uploaded with modified lyrics. Kotaku’s website went to get a story from Sony and was told that the remake of Demon’s Souls is released exclusively for PlayStation 5. The announcement that the game would also appear on other consoles and on PC would simply be due to human error.
