The campaigns are bearing fruit: of the required 130,000 euros, 105,000 euros have already been received.

“I break every time I tell the story,” says Martien. “Then I sit there crying with someone in the garden or inside. I personally visited thirty people. But when your kid has something like that, you do everything for her. That money just has to come together. ”

Anne has a long list of conditions, which she writes about on her website The Rolling Blogger. She also suffered many other blows. Recently. Her 72-year-old father-in-law died of corona. Her mother has a brain tumor. “She has had so many bad luck and setbacks in her life. That is really not normal. Unwanted childless, cancer. She was spared nothing. ”

A neurosurgeon in Spain can fix her cervical vertebrae. An operation that is not performed in the Netherlands. And one with a hefty price tag that is not reimbursed by health insurance. So became Anne’s Fight For Life started.
