Following theexample of Santa Monica Studio with God of War, Sony Bend also gave the “numbers” and revealed what we can expect from its latest exclusive for PlayStation 4, Days Gone, are PS5.
The open world starring Deacon St. John, like most of the more than 4,000 titles in the PS4 catalog, will run on PlayStation 5 in backward compatibility. Thanks to the increased power provided by Sony’s next-gen console, Days Gone will run at dynamic 4K resolution: this means that it will drop below 2160p in technically more complex scenes to ensure framerate stability. About the latter, Sony Bend declares that will reach up to 60fps. The support at transfer of saved games from PlayStation 4 to PS5.
To make a comparison, let’s remember that Days Gone gira a 1080p e 30fps su PS4, while on PlayStation 4 Pro it reaches 4K resolution in Checkerboard Rendering without any changes to the framerate, which does not go beyond 30fps.
Finally, we take the opportunity to remember that Days Gone will be part of PlayStation Plus Collection, a service that will allow all subscribers to play as many as 20 PlayStation 4 games on PS5 at no additional cost.
